Target is a Dangerous Place for Teachers!

Hi, Im a teacher..and I may be what some people call "a teacher hoarder."  I can't help it! I went in to buy travel sized bottles and came out with 3 bags full of teaching supplies. I made a point of walking with my eyes focused straight ahead (knowing that the Dollar Section is the first thing I would see), but out of the corner of my eye...I SAW IT! DR. SEUSS is back!!! and just my luck, they also had containers galore! I quickly grabbed a basket cart, to stock up for Read Across America for March 2013.
Okay, I also found these cuties...wonder what I should do with them..

Dr. Seuss Write the Room Freebie

I like the Write the Room from Can Do Kinders so much, I decided to make one with the lovable Thing 1 and Thing 2 themed clipart for March. Students practice counting from 11-20 and record their answer on the response sheet. Click here for the response sheet and here for the counting cards. Enjoy!

Cat in the Hat Mini Centers

I finally completed the Cat and the Hat Mini Centers. It's just a dollar at TeachersPayTeachers! It's my official first item on TPT. (Now I know how hard it is to make these little units.) It has 32 pages for PreK or Kinder Kids.  I would love feedback, so the first 3 people who leave a comments that follows my blog or TPT store, I would LOVE to send this completed unit to you. I only ask for either feedback to help me improve for next time!

Cat in the Hat Sample

I know Read Across America is in March, but I thought I would try to start making some of my own packets. Here is a sample of what I have done so far. There are two puzzles, a pattern worksheet, and a mat where students match CVC words to pictures. Click on the picture to download. If you download it, I would love some feedback/comments. Thanks!
