Penguin Hand Art

Every month each student makes a calendar with a monthly theme art on top. For January, I decided to make penguins from the students' hand. I simply painted the sides of their hands and had them stamp away. They used a snowflake stamp, markers, and crayons to complete their picture. Easy Peasy (I never in my life said 'Easy Peasy' until I taught Kinder)!

This was a Pinterest-inspired activity. I model what to do and let the students go for it. They had to cut out all the shapes for themselves and figure out where to place them, not bad for Kinders, eh?
